Audience members say:
“My husband and i came to the performance last night and were blown away by your enormously creative project reaching well beyond anything either of us have experienced in modern dance here in boston. visually and viscerally breathtaking, edgy yet hospitable, music we wish we owned, unpredictable and unexpected, whimsy, humor, contemplative, emotionally disturbing and thought provoking. beautiful dancing and emotional narrative left us with much to talk about on the ride home. we were both moved, delighted and impressed by the work.” – Joanie Block
“That was terrific. A great evening — Full of things to watch (and do), often fun, wonderful dancing, technology as smooth as could be (not to mention imaginative and fascinating), moving — and on and on. Thank you so much for it.” – Audience Member

Zoe Dance was awarded one of the Boston Center for the Arts Choreography Residencies. In late spring we will get to inhabit the space of the BCA and continue to work on a new iteration of “Becoming Undone”. This in addition to leading a workshop in which you can attend.
Dates of residency:
May 23 – June 19
With all of this excitement and support for the creation and performance of work, there is still need to ask supporters (such as yourself) to contribute so that dancers can be paid for their time. Ticket sales alone cannot match the (what seems like) infinite hours that are put in to create. Did you know that to create a minute of choreography, 1 hour of rehearsal time is usually spent?
Please consider supporting Zoe Dance. We are grateful for your support! (and hey, you get to watch a pretty cool dance video while you’re at it).
Thank you,
Callie Chapman
